Three people were taken to hospitals after a school bus, minivan and car collided Wednesday morning in the Town of Tonawanda, police said.
The accident, at Parker Boulevard and Sheridan Drive, was reported shortly after 9 a.m.
“The bus had no children on it and the bus driver is not injured,” said Capt. Joseph F. Carosi, a police department spokesman.
The person driving the van was taken to a hospital with what is believed to be a broken arm, the captain added, and two young men riding in the car – which was registered in Maine – also were taken to a hospital to be checked out.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the department’s Accident Investigation Unit. No charges have been filed at this point, Carosi said.
