Scott Pilkey will be introduced as the new head football coach at Erie Community College Thursday morning at the City Campus President’s Board Room.
Pilkey, 45, is the former director of high school relations and player development at the University at Buffalo and a former ECC assistant coach under Dennis Greene, who left the head coaching post after the 2014 season. He is a Williamsville North graduate.
After coaching the offensive and defensive lines at Niagara Falls High School in 2000, Pilkey moved on to ECC where he coached wide receivers, quarterbacks and tight ends. At UB he served under head coaches Turner Gill and Jeff Quinn starting in 2006. He was an offensive and defensive assistant with a primary role in recruiting and liaison with high schools.
ECC is coming off a 2-7 season, with the victories coming in the last two games over Milford Academy and Monroe College of New Rochelle.
