WBBZ owner Phil Arno has finally persuaded former Channel 4 General Manager Chris Musial to become general manager and vice president of the independent station.
Arno made the announcement Wednesday afternoon.
After former WBBZ General Manager Bob Koshinski left the station a few weeks ago, Arno said he hoped to persuade Musial to take Koshinski's spot after Musial already had spent several months as an unpaid consultant.
Musial supposedly retired from Channel 4 at the age of 55 in May of 2013 to spend more time with his family after decades at the station. However, it was widely believed he was forced out by LIN Media, which at the time owned the station now owned by Media General.
