Cheektowaga police seek hit-and-run vehicle that broke man’s arm

Cheektowaga police are looking for the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident Saturday morning that left a pedestrian with a broken arm.

The victim, a 58-year-old male man, was struck about 3:21 a.m. by a vehicle headed east on Genesee Street, just east of Holtz Drive, police said.

Police are looking for a 2003 to 2006 Chevrolet Silverado or a 2003 to 2006 GMC Sierra pickup, maroon/red in color, possibly with a white cap. The vehicle may have right side damage, with the passenger side mirror broken or completely broken off.

Anyone who witnessed the accident or has seen a vehicle matching the description is asked to contact the Accident Investigation Unit at 686-3580.
