Chautauqua County DA announces pleas, sentences

MAYVILLE – Chautauqua County District Attorney David W. Foley announced the following pleas and sentences in Chautauqua County Court on Monday:

• Frank R. Smith, 40, of Buffalo, was sentenced to 6½ years in state prison with 10 years post-release supervision for rape in the first degree.

• Hector Colon-Rodriguez, 41, of Jamestown, was sentenced to five years in state prison with five years post-release supervision for burglary in the second degree.

• Jhensen A. Sanchez, 25, of Dunkirk, was sentenced to four years in state prison with three years of post-release supervision for attempted robbery in the second degree.

• Michael Lane, 28, of Jamestown, was sentenced to 1½ to three years in state prison for attempted burglary in the third degree.

• Robert E. Mitchell, 43, of Cassadaga, was sentenced to a total of 18 months in jail for burglary and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree.

• Justin L. Eck, 32, of Sherman, was sentenced to five years of probation and a $500 fine for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.

• Kathleen M. Hennessy, 53, of Jamestown, was sentenced to five years of probation and a $5,000 fine for felony driving while intoxicated.

• Tara E. Brooks, 34, of Dunkirk, was sentenced to five years of probation for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.
