Tots to teens programs set at North Tonawanda library

NORTH TONAWANDA – Children from infants to young aspiring writers will find something to interest them in March at the North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive.

Registration begins on Monday for spring sessions of “Baby Time” for children ages nine to 23 months, as well as the “Terrific Twos” story hour. The sessions for children and their accompanying adult are open to residents of North Tonawanda, Wheatfield or Pendleton.

Baby Time is on Wednesdays, from 9:45 to 10:15 a.m., beginning on March 11 and continuing through April 8. Children will be introduced to books, songs, fingerplays and socializing.

The Terrific Twos story hour also will be on held on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., March 11 to April 8. Children must be two-years old by the first session.

Registration is required and may be made by calling the library at 693-4132, ext. 5, or in person at the library.

For teens, ages 13 to 18, the North Tonawanda Library will offer a Teen Writing Club. The first meeting will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on March 2 in the library conference room. Snacks will be provided.

The free club will encourage young writers to bring and share their writing, get tips from other writers, and learn where they can publish online.
