Man is shot twice in Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS – A Niagara Falls man was listed in stable condition at Erie County Medical Center on Thursday after being shot in the upper chest and grazed in the head earlier in the day. He is expected to fully recover.

Henry King, 40, of 14th Street, was shot at 3:15 a.m. in a house at 1610 South Ave., city police said. Investigators said they are looking for Arthur B. Ray, 36, also of Niagara Falls, in connection with the shooting.

The two men reportedly had a confrontation prompted by King dating Ray’s ex-girlfriend, police said. The shooting happened inside her home.

Niagara Falls detectives plan to charge Ray with first-degree assault.

Anyone with information on Ray’s whereabouts is asked to call the Niagara Falls Police Department at 286-4711.
