Saratoga County man who allegedly assaulted his parents arrested in Town of Tonawanda

A Saratoga County man who allegedly assaulted his parents in the family’s Town of Galway home late Sunday was arrested Monday at a Town of Tonawanda motel and is now being held in a Ballston Spa jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.

Brandon P. Fisher, 28, is accused of beating his father, Gregory, 51, and his mother, Audrey, 58, on the head and arms with an aluminum baseball bat during a late night argument and then driving off in his mother’s car.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said Fisher is charged with first-degree assault.

The injured couple was rushed to the Albany Medical Center in critical condition Sunday night with broken arms and severe head injuries but as of Wednesday their conditions had been upgraded to serious.
