Justice clothing chain to drop Brothers line

Justice, a clothing store for tween-aged girls, is scrapping its Brothers clothing line and store-within-a-store concepts.

There are Justice & Brothers locations at Boulevard Mall, Walden Galleria and Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls.

Justice launched the Brothers concept in 2011, adding the name to its store signs and expanding its store footprints to accommodate the departments, which offered clothing and accessories aimed at boys age 12 and younger. Brothers counterparts were added to nearly a fifth of the country’s 1,000 Justice locations.

Brothers sales were disappointing, down 1.6 percent to $1.38 billion in 2014.

Justice expects to be rid of the Brothers brand by summer.
