Psychic ought to know church rejects her ‘gift’
In a recent News article, a psychic explains her work as a medium claiming: “I am a Catholic. I am not a witch. I have a gift that I can share.”
Does she realize that the catechism of the Catholic Church condemns consulting mediums? “All forms of divination are to be rejected … all conceal a desire for power over time, history and in the last analysis, other human beings. … They contradict the honor, respect and loving fear that we owe to God alone.”
I recommend that thoughtful readers who want to learn more about the occult world read “Angels and Devils” by Joan Carroll Cruz. This book is carefully documented and well-written.
