Teens posing as Good Samaritans took advantage of a West Side woman with car trouble Friday, according to Buffalo Police reports.
A 10th Street woman told police that her vehicle became disabled and was blocking Virginia Street early Friday morning when a teenage male and two others approached, her asking if she needed help.
At some point, one of the helpers entered her vehicle and stole her wallet containing credit cards, her driver’s license, cash and other property, the victim reported to police.
The three were last seen headed south on 10th Street, the woman said.
Central District Police were investigating the incident.
