KARWICK, Ronald S.

KARWICK - Ronald S. Depew resident Ronald Stanley Karwick, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Karwick was born on August 17, 1926 to his parents Stanley and Helen (nee Stachowiak). Beloved husband of 54 years to the late Lorraine Karwick (Lukomski). He studied business at the University of Buffalo. Later, Mr. Karwick joined the US Army during the Korean War as a S/Sgt. in the First Calvary Division. He was also sent to Hiroshima during the World War II invasion. A member of the American Legion Post #1528. Upon his return from the war, Mr. Karwick was a men's clothing buyer for Sattler's from 1968-1976 and for Jenss until his retirement. Mr. Karwick is survived by his daughter Deborah (Kenneth) Waiss, daughter Cynthia (Joseph) Widmer, son Ronald (Donna) Karwick, son Mark (Donna) Karwick, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and sister Shirley (John) Marki, brother of the late Irwin Karwick. Mr. Karwick will be buried at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel's Church in Elma, NY on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at church. No prior visitations.
