JAMESTOWN – Sled dogs and birds of prey will be featured as the Jamestown Audubon Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Road, off Route 62, holds its annual Snowflake Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Saturday.
Kicksled demonstrations by Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue will be held hourly from noon to 3 p.m. Owls and other birds of prey can be seen up close in Wild Spirit Education Programs hourly from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Other activities include hikes with a naturalist at 10:30 a.m., noon and 2 p.m., cooking demonstrations, children’s crafts, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, exhibitors, vendors and a variety of snacks.
