LOCKPORT – A Newfane man who stole a shotgun from a Town of Lockport woman’s apartment more than a year ago pleaded guilty Thursday in Niagara County Court.
Daniel M. Voelker, 37, of Hillcrest Avenue, admitted to fourth-degree grand larceny. He faces up to four years in state prison when he is sentenced March 12 by County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.
Voelker climbed a ladder Jan. 8, 2014, to enter a Lincoln Place apartment through a window, Assistant District Attorney Joel M. Grundy said. Voelker will have to pay $350 in restitution to the victim.
