JAMESTOWN – A 29-year-old Falconer man was arrested and jailed on felony drug charges and about 13 pounds of marijuana and nearly a pound of a concentrated form of marijuana sold on the streets as “shatter,” were seized during an early afternoon raid Thursday on an apartment on Shirley Lane.
Steven P. Greenland was arrested as he allegedly tried to flee by trying to jump out a rear second-story window as a Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force team broke into the house about 12:40 p.m.
The marijuana and “shatter” seized had a street valued more than $41,000. About $3,000 in cash was also seized during the raid. Greenland is being held on felony charges of criminal possession of marijuana in the first-degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth-degree. Jamestown police said the raid was the result of information obtained about a large quantity of marijuana recently shipped to the Shirley Lane flat from outside the area.
