The Western New York Flash has announced the signing of forwards Ajara Nchout Njoya and Camilla Kur-Larsen for the 2015 season.
Nchout Njoya, 22, is part of the women’s national team for Cameroon, and has scored seven goals in 25 games for that squad. Cameroon will take part in the this year’s Women’s World Cup. She participated in the 2012 Olympics in London. Last season she played for AS Police de Yaoundé in Cameroon.
Kur-Larsen, 25, has spent the last three seasons with Fortuna Hjorring in Denmark. In 2013-14, she finished with 20 goals, and this season she has eight goals in 10 games. Kur-Larsen has played for the Danish National Team, and is expected to play in the Women’s World Cup this summer.
“We’re bringing in two dynamic, young forwards who have a proven ability to score goals,” said Flash general manager and head coach Aaran Lines.
