Mill Middle student struck by car treated for broken arm

A 14-year-old student at Mill Middle School broke her arm when she was struck by a car as she crossed Mill Street on the way to school Wednesday morning, the Amherst Police Department said.

The girl was taken to Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and treated for a broken arm and other minor injuries. She was crossing Mill Street at 8:33 a.m. when she was struck by a Ford Focus driving north, police said.

The Amherst Police Department is investigating the incident.
