Buffalo man pleads guilty to crack cocaine trafficking

Aaron T. Holmes, 43, of Buffalo pleaded guilty Wednesday to possession and distribution of crack cocaine. When sentenced May 11 he faces a prison term of at least five years and up to 40 years and a fine of up to $5 million to be set by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas S. Duskiewicz said Holmes sold crack cocaine to an FBI undercover agent eight times in 2013 while he was also involved in drug transactions with 16 other individuals. During the investigation FBI agents seized quantities of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a sophisticated surveillance system Holmes was using and $2,184 in cash from his drug sales.
