Buffalo man convicted of distributing crack cocaine

A woman convicted of distributing crack cocaine was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to 30 months in prison.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Catherine Baumgarten said the sentencing of Kayla Renee Combs, 25, of Buffalo, stems from an investigation into the trafficking of crack cocaine and cocaine from Cleveland to Western New York.

Two co-defendants also have been convicted and are awaiting sentencing, which is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Niagara County Sheriff’s Department, Niagara County Drug Task Force and the North Tonawanda Police Department.
