A Lackawanna man convicted of a domestic assault, during which he attacked a former girlfriend and tried to choke her, has been sentenced of 90 days in jail.
John B. Crocker, IV, 44, was sentenced last Friday by Cheektowaga Town Justice Paul Piotrowski after pleading guilty to attempted obstruction of breathing. Crocker was arrested last June on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief and harassment.
Cheektowaga police said Crocker hit his former girlfriend in the face, slammed her to the floor and tried to choke her. He also destroyed the victim’s phone, police noted.
