LOCKPORT – A Ruhlman Road resident told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies that he got a text Saturday night from a woman he knows asking him to come outside. When he told her he was out, she texted back – Wonderful.
As it turns out, the victim was just a few doors away, at his grandmother’s apartment. He said when he looked out the window he saw the suspect, Amber N. Clark, walk up to his front window, smash the glass, and drive away.
Clark, 32, of a different address on Ruhlman Road, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief with intent to damage property and issued an appearance ticket. Deputies told Clark the charges could increase if the value of damages are more than $250.
