Housing is a bad fit at the Outer Harbor
I do not agree that there should be housing at the Outer Harbor.
The grain elevators are historical and truly magnificent. That area should be left open for everyone to enjoy and appreciate. Housing would be only for special people – those who can afford to live there.
For many years, I had the privilege of working on boats cruising around the grain elevators, and everyone was fascinated by the size, shape and use of these structures. Now that Canalside is being developed, why spoil it by putting housing down there?
