UB students compete for $8,000 in seed funding

Fourteen student entrepreneurs at the University at Buffalo will each make 10-minute business pitches as they compete for up to $8,000 in seed funding Friday as part of UB’s Entrepreneurship Lab.

The three-week winter course was sponsored by the UB School of Management and the Office of Science, Technology Transfer and Economic Outreach. Funding this year was provided through an anonymous donation to the UB School of Management.

Up to five students will receive awards on Friday at the grand opening of tenX, STOR’s new co-working space in UB Technology Incubator in Amherst.
