Orleans County SWAT team makes two arrests for sale of crack cocaine in Medina

MEDINA –Following a two-month investigation into the sale and distribution of crack cocaine, two suspects charged in the Village of Medina on Thursday.

The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force, the Orleans County multi-agency SWAT team and the Medina Police served a warrant at a lower apartment on Starr Street and arrested a man and a woman, both of whom lived there.

Andre D. Shine, 31, was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sale and four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Amanda L. Major, 24, was charged with third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.

Both were arraigned in Town of Ridgeway Court. Shine was remanded to Orleans County Jail without bail because of his previous criminal history and Major was remanded on $20,000 bail.
