Springville’s revamped government website expected to debut this weekend

Springville residents can look forward to a revamped village government website as soon as this weekend.

Michael R. Kaleta, code enforcement officer, updated the Village Board about the website’s redesign Tuesday night.

“Sometime over the weekend, we’ll go live with the new site,” he said.

The site will display village and state laws, an events calendar, a form for anonymous complaints about properties and a “contact us” section.

As a backdrop, the site will show the clock near the Village Office Building on Main Street.

Officials will also post statements about the village issues on the site.

They hope that the improved site will look more modern and let employees update it more easily.

The village paid 360 PSG, a company based on Ridge Lea Road in Amherst, $2,999 to upgrade the site.

The Village Board, which normally meets on the first and third Monday nights of each month, convened Tuesday night because Monday was the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
