New York State Police in Niagara County charged three drivers in separate drug and alcohol related arrests over the holiday weekend.
Peter K. Boes Jr., 39, of Lockport was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped for passing a red light Friday on Lincoln Avenue in Lockport.
Kenneth J. Hylkema, 44, of Lockport was charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday. He was stopped by troopers after he was observed traveling westbound in the eastbound lane on Dunnigan Road in the Town of Pendleton.
On Sunday troopers charged Arthur P. Pawloski, 59, of Middleport with criminal possession of a stimulant, driving while intoxicated, criminal possession of a controlled substance, refusal to take a breath test, and having a controlled substance in a non original container. Pawlowski was stopped in the Town of Royalton and found carrying a clear baggie with a white powder substance and pills.
