The Ice at Canalside was back open for business at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, a little later than was originally planned.
The new outdoor skating rink, which celebrated its grand opening Dec. 18, had been closed since Christmas Eve because of unseasonably warm weather.
Skating for Sunday had been set to start at noon but was postponed because of the still-warmer than usual conditions.
But with temperatures sinking into the 30s Sunday, Canalside officials declared it would be open from 2:30 to 8 p.m. today.
Tickets are $5 for skater 13 and over, $3 for children 6 to 12 and free for those under 5. Skate rentals will be available for $3.
