Specialists need to do better job of scheduling
I’ve been going to a surgeon in Buffalo for the past few months and I am not too happy because every time I go up, it means getting scheduled for one time and being seen two hours later. This isn’t a fluke; it happens every time. And what’s even worse, I’ve been told the office double-books the same doctor with two patients at the same time. Why?
I wouldn’t particularly care if (1) I didn’t have anything else better to do; (2) I didn’t have medical transportation waiting for me since I don’t drive; and (3) I didn’t have other health issues like diabetes. This says something about Buffalo’s medical community and is all the more reason smaller communities should be enticing specialists to come practice locally.
