Car window shot out in road rage incident

A man told Buffalo Police one of his car windows was shot out Thursday night after he had an argument with a driver who cut him off.

The incident happened just before 9 p.m. on Roebling and East Delavan avenues, just east of Bailey Avenue, according to a police report.

The victim told police the other driver cut him off on Roebling and they exchanged words. When the victim parked his car in a driveway on the 100 block of Roebling, they had words again. Then the other driver went into a home across the street and came out with a shotgun.

The assailant fired buck shot three times, shooting out one of the vehicle’s side windows while the victim’s girlfriend was still in the car. The pellets also struck the side of a house on Roebling.

Police chased a suspect on foot, but he was able to evade them.
