Canadian exhibit showcases blue butterflies

“Blue Christmas,” a holiday butterfly exhibit, has returned to the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls, Ont., through Jan. 4

The exhibit features more than 500 free-flying iridescent Blue Morpho butterflies, which call the tropical rainforest setting of the conservatory their home.

They are among more than 2,000 butterflies at the conservatory, about 10 minutes north of the falls along the Niagara Parkway, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with last entry at 4:30 p.m.
