Evolution Dental Science named Colin Chiarmonte crown and bridge fabrication specialist. Chiarmonte returned to EDS after working at Global Dental Science in Arizona for four years. Also EDS named Vinnie Murphy implant adviser. Murphy returned to EDS after working at Voss Dental, New Creation Dental and Bonadent.

Daemen College was selected as a top school in the 2015 Military Advanced Education’s Guide to Colleges and Universities, making it the fourth time the college has received this national designation. The guide, which was released in the December issue of Military Advanced Education, is based on a questionnaire of military-supportive policies at more than 600 institutions across the country. The Daemen Center for Veterans and Veteran Family Services provides assistance, resources, support, and advocacy for student veterans. In addition, the Nancy Haberman Gacioch Center for Veterans offers a centralized place on campus for veterans to study and connect with fellow students who have served in the military.


ConServe, an accounts receivable management firm, will celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of its brand new communication center on Jan. 15 at 201 Como Park Blvd. in Cheektowaga. ConServe is also celebrating its 30th anniversary year.


The Buffalo-Niagara Clinical Alliance, a site management organization, will start operations early next year in Buffalo. The Buffalo-Niagara Clinical Alliance, founded by two local entrepreneurs, Sibu Nair, president & CEO and Dr. Jayakumar R. Nair, vice president of business operations, COO, will provide clinical trial related services to physicians and healthcare institutions for pharmaceutical companies, clinical research organizations or biotech companies. Clinical trials are important analytical and observational research programs that verify the safety and effectiveness of experimental drugs and medical devices on volunteers before they are released in the market.


Heritage Centers, the Erie County Chapter of NYSARC, was awarded a $10,000 grant from The Trustees of the NYSARC Services Board to help fund increased recreational opportunities for the children and adults served by the agency in its Community Support Services and Residential Services Departments. Heritage Centers is a local nonprofit that serves more than 3,000 individuals with disabilities each year,
