Villa Maria College will offer a new program designed to help students with learning disabilities succeed at the college level.
The college plans to roll out the “Achieve Program for Students with Learning Differences” in the fall of 2015.
For a separate fee, the program will provide enhanced services such as one-on-one support from tutors and advisers and specialized career and internship support. The new initiative will be directed by Melissa Zgliczynski, head of the Office of Students with Disabilities. She also will supervise a staff of professional tutors.
Students may apply to the program now and begin using it in fall 2015.
