Lockport woman charged with stealing from employer

NIAGARA FALLS – A Lockport woman who was in charge of making the daily bank deposits for a Town of Niagara company has been arrested and charged with stealing more than $25,000 from the business, State Police announced Monday.

Caroline E. Credicott, 38, was arrested last week and charged with a felony, third-degree grand larceny, and two misdemeanors: falsifying business records and altering, erasing, deleting or destroying business entries.

The thefts occurred at Roadside Service, Inc., troopers reported. Credicott posted $2,500 bail in Town Court and is due for another appearance there Tuesday.
