A three-month investigation into cocaine and marijuana sales in Orleans County and Brockport has led authorities to arrest two Brockport residents and confiscate three pounds of marijuana, two ounces of cocaine and $5,000 in cash, the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force announced Monday.
Task force members, working with Brockport police, executed a search warrant at a North Main Street apartment on Friday, where they arrested Jesus M. Vargas, 35, and Tabitha L. Drager, 21, both of that address. Vargas faces five counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, a Class B felony, while Drager was charged with two of those counts, plus a criminal charge of marijuana possession, according to police reports.
Vargas was arraigned and sent to the Orleans County Jail without bail, due to his previous criminal history, according to the task force. Drager was sent to the Monroe County Jail.
