A sobriety checkpoint Saturday night at the Seneca Street off-ramp of Route 400 netted four arrests, police in West Seneca reported Sunday.
Joseph Carney Jr., 22, of Buffalo was charged with DWI and possession of marijuana. Carney refused a breath test, police said.
Jacob T. Winkowski, 24, of Cheektowaga was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and was also found to have an outstanding bench warrant for the same charge, police said. Winkowski was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center.
Matthew D. Laughlin, 46, of Buffalo was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. He was released at the scene.
Samantha A. Dunkle, 22, of Hamburg was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and marijuana possession, said West Seneca police, who issued Dunkle an appearance ticket.
Deputies from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
