TAYLOR, David W.

TAYLOR - David W. Passed away on December 12, 2014 at the age of 75 after a brief illness. He was the former owner of Taylor Travel Service, one of the first travel companies in Western New York originally founded by his father in 1952. He was responsible for expanding the business to many locations serving clients across the Niagara Frontier and beyond. Taylor served as president of the American Association of Travel Agents (ASTA) and the International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals (SKAL). He was for many years a member of the Travel Alliance of Western New York (TAWNY), the Kiwanis Club and Elks Lodge #860. He was an accomplished racquetball player, world traveler and dear friend to many. He is survived by his mother, Lucy; his former wife, Deanne; his children Debra (Chris) and David "Scott" (Robin); three grandchildren, a great-grandchild, sister, Susan Meozzi (Paolo), a nephew, and a very kind friend, Jay Blaszczak. A celebration of his life will be arranged at a future date.
