The annual senior citizen luncheon gave the elderly a chance to spend time with children at North Collins Elementary School on Dec. 4.
Uniting those from ages 4 to 104, the event included pupils from prekindergarten to sixth grade who created ornaments, artwork and holiday crafts.
Sixth-graders served the meal cafeteria workers prepared while students played holiday songs on the piano and prekindergartners and kindergartners sang.
Poinsettias arrived from the town government. Students in the town Recreation Department’s after-school program created holiday cards and donated some to residents who receive Meals on Wheels.
