NIAGARA FALLS – The two daughters of a woman arrested Saturday morning as a fugitive from justice were allowed to continue their trip home after her arrest, police said.
Angela Davis, 47, of Silver Springs, Maryland, was stopped while entering the U.S. at the Rainbow Bridge around 7:45 a.m. Saturday when a computer showed that she was wanted by authorities in Maryland. She was en route to the Buffalo-Niagara Airport at the time, preparing to fly home with her daughters. After checking with the airlines, the young women were allowed to continue their trip home unaccompanied.
Davis is being held pending extradition to Maryland. No further details were provided.
