#PrepTalkLive from Championship Saturday: Jamestown, Randolph win state titles; Canisius wins third straight MMA crown

It's one of the very last days of the fall high school sports season, which means it is one of the biggest.

Two Section VI football teams will play for New York State Public High School Athletic Association championships at Syracuse's Carrier Dome with Miguel Rodriguez keeping track of the action: Randolph plays IX-Chester for the Class D title -- which would be the Cardinals' third in a row -- at noon, while Jamestown takes on Newburgh at 6 p.m. in the Class AA final.

At All High Stadium, Keith McShea will report from the weather-delayed Monsignor Martin Association championship game, in which Canisius and Bishop Timon-St. Jude kick off at noon.

(Rodriguez and McShea discussed the three games in this week's PrepTalkTV episode)

It's also a major day in cross country, with East Aurora's boys and girls teams participating in the Nike Cross New York Regionals.

We'll be following the action from the press box, from our home office via @bufnewspreptalk on Twitter, and through your #PrepTalkLive tweets.

As always, we encourage you to tweet updates and observations with the hashtag #PrepTalkLive attached -- that's the quickest way for us to share the information through the live blog below (tweets with that hashtag will automatically show up). #PrepTalkLive updates from all varsity sports are welcome throughout every season.

Our high school scoreboard page has today's entire lineup, and it will have the final scores and details as soon as they are reported to us.
