Portville man accused of stealing off-road vehicle from dealership

PORTVILLE – A Portville man was arrested by State Police Friday and charged with possession of an off-road vehicle stolen 13 months ago from an Olean dealership.

Jeremy N. Beck, 35, was charged with a felony count of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Trooper Lindsey Stephenson said the Polaris RZR 900 side-by-side was recovered Friday at a residence near Beck’s home. The vehicle was reported stolen in October 2013 from Southern Tier Polaris, Stephenson said. According to the Polaris website, it has a retail price of about $16,000.
