Kaleida Health employees who couldn’t make it into work will not be penalized or have to use paid time off under a “hold harmless” exception because of last week’s snowstorm. The hospital system is also working with its unions to help employees who missed work but don’t have any more time off, said Daniel J. Farberman, Kaleida Health’s vice president of labor/employee relations.

State Trooper Shawn Paa played a major role in the rescue of a West Seneca woman who was stranded by the snowstorm Tuesday on the Aurora Expressway. The trooper’s last name was misspelled in a report Saturday.
