Buffalo police probe second homicide since Saturday

A 20-year-old man was killed in a shooting about 1 a.m. Sunday in the 100-block of Hudson Street, Buffalo police said..

Central District officers responded to the shooting initially and homicide Squad detectives are investigating. The victim’s identification and further information were unavailable.

The Sunday shooting followed the fatal shooting about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 200-block of Langfield Drive that left one man dead and another critically injured.

Both victims were taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where a 19-year-old man was declared dead on arrival and a 20-year-old Buffalo man is listed in critical condition with a gunshot wound. Police on Sunday were still withholding the victims’ names pending notification of family members.
