MOUNCE, William S.

MOUNCE MOUNCE - William S. William Seibel Mounce, 65, of Williamsville, New York, passed away Wednesday October 29, 2014, at home with his wife by his side after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer. William was born June 23, 1949, in Weymouth, Massachusetts to Richard and Jeanne (Seibel) Mounce. He attended Marshfield High School in Massachusetts and earned his bachelor's and master's degree in Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He retired from his life long career in the defense industry as a Senior Program Manager at Northrop Grumman Corporation-Amherst Systems. He enjoyed boating, tinkering, debating politics, strategy games and puzzles, helping others, music and being with his family. He was a lifetime member of the Tuscarora Yacht Club and a past member of Old Crows. William is survived by his wife, Patricia (Meister) Mounce of Williamsville, New York, daughter Julie Ann (Wayne) Cameron, son William Christopher (Amy) Mounce and son Jonathan Joseph (Elizabeth) Mounce; grandchildren Landric and Paxson; sister Kathy (Richard) Prone; also survived by his father-in-law Joseph Meister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (corner Hopkins) where Funeral Services will follow at 8 PM. Family and friends invited.
