MAYVILLE – Two men were arrested Friday and a large quantity of property stolen during recent burglaries in the towns of Portland and Sheridan and the village of Westfield were recovered, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Russelll C. Genovese Jr., 25, of Barker Street, Jamestown, and Adam J. Robinson, 26, of Washington Street, Westfield, were remanded to the county jail without bail.
Both are charged with break-ins on Bliss Road in Portland, and incidents in Sheridan and Westfield.
They are charged with third-degree burglary and criminal possession of stolen property.
The arrests followed a lengthy investigation by Sheriff’s Investigators Doug Walter, Nick Sobecki and Randy Boland and officers of the Westfield Police Department.
