Lockport man pleads guilty to two felonies

LOCKPORT – A Town of Lockport man admitted in Niagara County Court Friday that he sold drugs and committed a robbery at Lockport’s Bon-Ton store, both last year.

David M. Soulvie, 35, of Keck Road, was promised concurrent sentencing in his plea deal, limiting his prison time to four years. County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas will make the call Jan. 16.

While attempting to shoplift some merchandise, Soulvie had a physical confrontation with a security guard at Bon-Ton Sept. 13, 2013. He also admitted selling some Fentanyl patches Dec. 9.

He pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree robbery and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Soulvie agreed to conditions that included repaying the county Drug Task Force $65 and avoiding visits to the Bon-Ton in the future.
