A so-called “rock star of sewing” will be in East Aurora Monday to meet fans and autograph sewing machines.
Hanspeter Ueltschi will visit Aurora Sewing Center, 659 Main St., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday. The store will host a “Swiss brunch” at the same time.
Ueltschi is the fourth-generation owner of Swiss sewing and embroidery machine manufacturer BERNINA International. During his visit, he will speak about his company and its products.
The store will host other BERNINA events throughout the weekend. There will be product demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with the opportunity for guests to make hands-on projects to take home.
Barbara Perry owns and operates Aurora Sewing Center, which has locations in East Aurora and Williamsville.
