Boswell elected to PBS board for second term

Don Boswell president and CEO of WNED, has been voted a professional director on the board at the Public Broadcasting Service for a second term.

Professional directors are station leaders, responsible for governing and setting policy for PBS. The positions are not paid and subject to three year terms. Professional directors are elected by PBS member stations.

Boswell, a Pittsburgh native who joined WNED in 1998, is also chair of the PBS Diversity Task Force and serves on the PBS Finance Committee and Investment Subcommittee, the Strategic Planning Advisory Committee, and the PBS Foundation board of directors.
