Wilson man charged with driving his motorcycle while drunk

PORTER – A 65-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he failed to stop at a stop sign while on his motorcycle Sunday in the Town of Porter.

Frederick E. Fay, of Wilson, was charged by state police with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop for a stop sign, moving from a lane unsafely, unlicensed operation and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Troopers said Fay was found with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 percent, which is nearly twice the legal limit.
