LOCKPORT – Two Lockport residents were arraigned Tuesday in Niagara County Court on separate indictments charging them with making two drug deals each in March.
Nikita T. Jones, 26, of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty to two counts of each of third-degree criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance. He was accused of selling heroin March 7 and 11.
Ronesue A. Chase, 47, of Main Street, denied two counts each of fifth-degree sale and possession. She allegedly sold alprazolam March 17 and 18.
All four purchases were made by a paid police informant and were recorded on audio tapes, Assistant District Attorney John P. Granchelli said in court.
