Marijuana is found in a traffic stop in North Tonawanda

NORTH TONAWANDA – New York state police stopped a man on traffic charges Sunday, but he faces additional charges after they allegedly found him carrying glass jars of marijuna

Dakota M. Kwiatkowski, 20, of North Tonawanda was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana after troopers found him carrying marijuana and then located an additional 2.5 ounces of marijuana in glass jars. He was issued an appearance ticket in North Tonawanda City Court and a return court date was set for Nov. 5.

He was stopped on Oliver Street for window tint and visibility violations and police reported a strong odor of marijuana coming from the inside the vehicle.
